TMT means Thermo Mechanical Treatment, which is a thermomechanical process; These TMT steel bars are generally used material in construction for enhanced protection against earthquake and another type of natural disasters. To ensure safety for your structure TMT steel bars should be resistant to corrosion which helps to obtain a longer life to your structure.Generally, the length of a standard TMT bar is 12 metres; it is the diameter that varies. The diameter can be 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 16 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm or 32 mm.
